Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a on-site Commercial Banking Specialist to act as the primary liaison with Commercial customers through onboarding and ongoing relationship management. You will work with the Commercial Relationship Team on underwriting, documentation, and closing of loans and deposit services.

The role requires 2-4 years of banking or loan administration experience, strong communication, and solid PC/Office skills. Occasional travel is expected as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related discipline preferred.
• 2-4 years of banking or loan administration experience required.
• Basic knowledge in all areas of banking and lending.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Proficiency with PC and MS Office applications.
• Travel: Occasional.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison with Commercial customers through onboarding and ongoing relationships.
• Coordinate underwriting, documentation and closing of loans and deposit services.
• Prepare data input sheets for servicing system onboarding and maintain documentation for audits.
• Set up and monitor loan and financial ticklers for accuracy and timeliness.
• Resolve customer issues related to bank products and services.
