Jobot is seeking an experienced attorney to join our liability practice in a hybrid role in Michigan. You will handle all stages of professional liability litigation and work with professionals, insurers, and institutions on high-exposure matters.

The ideal candidate has a JD from an accredited law school, Michigan license, and 2–10 years of litigation experience with strong writing and advocacy skills. Hybrid schedule with opportunities for development and client engagement.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Michigan.
• 2–10 years of litigation experience preferred, covering general, professional and commercial litigation.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of professional liability litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in complex malpractice and negligence matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft persuasive briefs and motions.
• Communicate with clients, insurers, opposing counsel and courts.
• Develop litigation strategy and case evaluations.
• Manage caseload independently while collaborating with partners and teams.
• Participate in business development and client relationships.
