Job summary

FCCI is seeking a Senior Commercial Lines Underwriter to help acquire and retain profitable commercial lines customers in Florida. The role involves underwriting assignments, pricing, and building strong relationships with agents while meeting profitability and production goals.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of commercial property and casualty underwriting experience, advanced knowledge of P&C forms and rating rules, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Our dynamic team is looking for a Senior Commercial Lines Underwriter to assist in the acquisition and retention of profitable commercial lines customers, through sound underwriting principles reflective of company policy. The Underwriter will work with assigned agents in meeting profitability and production goals, by following guidelines and establishing business relationships, along with managing the pricing and underwriting of an assigned territory of business. The ideal candidate will have commercial lines underwriting experience and strong agency relationships in the states of Florida.

This position will work a hybrid schedule in our Sarasota or Lake Mary, FL office or remote in Florida.

The salary range for this position is $83,080-$127,945 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
