Job summary

FCCI Services Inc. is seeking an Underwriting Systems Analyst-E&S to deliver technical customer service for the underwriting user community, focusing on Duck Creek and related policy decision workflows.

You will troubleshoot issues, provide training resources, and collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize enhancements and testing for a better user experience across hybrid offices. Excellent communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant technology/systems background.
• Minimum two years relevant experience in P&C and/or E&S industry (including strong underwriting systems & workflow).
• Solid knowledge of FCCI underwriting systems, FCCI workflow and systems (including Policy Decisions).
• Solid knowledge of insurance underwriting procedures, rules, systems, and regulations.
• Solid knowledge of basic IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies.
• Solid understanding of project delivery and acceptance processes within a fast-paced business environment.
• Ability to translate needs of various user communities into written business requirements.
• Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze, define and solve problems; the use of good judgment and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical customer service support to the Underwriting user community.

The Underwriting Systems Analyst-E&S is responsible for providing technical customer service support to FCCI’s Underwriting user community. This role provides a key value by helping troubleshoot a variety of common and sometimes complex system problems in order to resolve quoting and policy issuance system Decisions issues promptly. Systems utilized include Duck Creek for Specialty/E&S lines of business. In addition,this role provides valuable system training resources to ensure the UW technology is being fully and efficiently utilized. As a subject matter expert, this team member partners with key stakeholders in the development and prioritization of new functionality and/or testing for system fixes and enhancements that enable a better experience, and greater efficiency for the user community.This role is hybrid at any of our FCCI offices (Sarasota or Lake Mary, FL; Lawrenceville, GA; Glen Allen, VA; Carmel, IN; Richardson, TX, Ridgeland, MS.)

The salary range for this position is $56,746-$87,390 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
