Job summary

FCCI Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Commercial Lines Underwriter to help acquire and retain profitable commercial lines customers. You will work with assigned agents to meet profitability and production goals, following company guidelines and building strong relationships.

The role supports pricing and underwriting across an assigned territory with a hybrid work schedule in the Mid-Atlantic Office in Glen Allen, VA, or field-based in PA, MD, VA, NC or SC.

Qualifications

• Senior Commercial Lines Underwriter with underwriting experience.
• Strong agency relationships in VA/MD/PA/NC/SC preferred.
• Hybrid role based in Glen Allen, VA or field-based in PA, MD, VA, NC, SC.

Our dynamic team is looking for a Senior Commercial Lines Underwriter to assist in the acquisition and retention of profitable commercial lines customers, through sound underwriting principles reflective of company policy. The Underwriter will work with assigned agents in meeting profitability and production goals, by following guidelines and establishing business relationships, along with managing the pricing and underwriting of an assigned territory of business. The ideal candidate will have commercial lines underwriting experience and strong agency relationships in states such as Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and South Carolina. This position will work a hybrid schedule in our Mid-Atlantic Office in Glen Allen, VA or could be a field-based position in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, North or South Carolina. The salary range for this position is $83,080-$127,945 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. We are an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
