Job summary

NFP, an Aon company, seeks an experienced Commercial Lines Senior Account Executive to manage a book of business and act as strategic advisor to clients. You will lead with the Account Management Team to deliver renewals, cross-sell, and plan marketing strategies while traveling as needed.

You will bring 10+ years in commercial insurance, a P&C broker’s license, and strong negotiation and presentation skills to a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Property & Casualty Broker’s License required upon hire; CPCU or similar designation preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of industry experience with a strong background in commercial insurance is ideal. Prior retail brokerage experience required.
• Advanced MS Office skills, to include Excel, Word, Powerpoint

Responsibilities

• Lead primary client relationship and development of customer service plan. Maintain focus on growth and retention of assigned book of business.
• Establish and maintain trust with clients through proactive resolution of items and inquiries.
• Initiate client meetings to strategize renewal marketing and advise on coverage alternatives.
• Review ownership and management contracts, leases and other documents for insurance requirements.
• Discuss and negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers based on client exposures and claims history.
• Prepare renewal submissions and present renewals to clients as needed.
• Coordinate Marketing/Underwriting processes and timelines for quotes and carrier communication.
• Travel 2-3 times per year or as required for client/meetings.
