Job summary

NFP, an Aon company, is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Senior Account Executive to manage a designated book of business and act as the strategic advisor to clients. You will partner with Account Management to drive growth, renewals, and cross-selling across coverages, delivering resources and guidance to client needs.

The role supports remote work or hybrid arrangements from East Coast offices, with travel as needed, and requires a deep knowledge of commercial property and casualty

Qualifications

• P&C Broker’s License required upon hire; CPCU or similar designation preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of industry experience with a strong background in commercial insurance is ideal. Prior retail brokerage experience required.
• Advanced MS Office skills, to include Excel, Word, Powerpoint

Responsibilities

• Lead primary client relationship and development of customer service plan for growth and retention.
• Maintain high trust with clients through proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Advise on renewal marketing process and coverage alternatives with clients.
• Review contracts and documents to gather information for insurance compliance.
• Negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers based on client exposures and claims history.
• Prepare renewal submissions and present to clients or teams.
• Collaborate with underwriters and wholesalers to obtain the best quotes within timelines.
• Travel 2–3 times a year for client meetings or office visits.
