Job summary

NFP, an Aon company, is seeking an Account Executive to manage a book with a strong Real Estate concentration and to develop client and carrier relationships. You will prepare applications and marketing materials for new business and renewals with some supervision.

This full-time role requires a hybrid schedule with offices in White Plains, Plainview, NY or Midtown Manhattan, offering growth through collaborative, client-centered leadership.

Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years of Commercial Lines experience in a retail brokerage or independent agency.
• Experience managing a book of middle-market accounts (up to $1M revenue).
• In-depth knowledge of insurance coverages and clear client communication.
• Understanding marketplace trends and best practices to meet clients' needs.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; EPIC CRM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate terms, limits, and pricing with carriers and wholesalers.
• Coordinate with Claims on relevant client claims.
• Prepare client proposals from carrier quotes reflecting coverage terms and pricing.
• Update exposures and endorsements to avoid E&O issues.
• Maintain a diary to ensure timely delivery of policies and endorsements.
• May supervise daily activities of Coordinators and Account Managers.
• Build strong relationships with carriers and clients and monitor industry trends.
