USI Insurance Services is seeking a skilled Account Manager to oversee 30–50 middle-market Commercial Lines accounts in Wilmington, NC. You will handle renewals, marketing, and client inquiries, supporting Sales and Account Executives with technical expertise and carrier negotiations.

The role emphasizes accuracy in agency systems, timely responses to underwriters, and cross-selling initiatives in a fast-paced team environment. A P&C license and industry designations are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience in a Commercial Lines agency.
• College degree preferred.
• Must hold or be willing to earn Property & Casualty license.
• Industry designations such as ARM, CIC, CPCU preferred.
• Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Sagitta / ImageRight preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal instruction.

Responsabilités

• Provide proactive, personalized support to assigned Commercial Lines clients.
• Provide insurance technical expertise to clients and Account Management team.
• Market and place client Commercial Lines renewals.
• Prepare client applications for review with assistance from Account Representatives.
• Determine carriers for market pricing and analyze quotes.
• Make insurance program recommendations to clients.
• Manage renewal expirations and avoid lapses in coverage.
• Negotiate with carriers on behalf of clients.
• Process policies, endorsements and audits as needed.
• Champion cross-selling and develop customer accounts.
• Represent client interests in USI account strategy meetings.
• Delegate administrative tasks to Account Representatives.
• Respond to underwriters’ questions timely and professionally.
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management systems.
• Occasional in-person attendance at client meetings.
