Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines professional to manage client relationships for mid-to-large accounts. You will handle policy changes, renewals, and carrier negotiations while educating clients on coverage options and market trends.

The role emphasizes strong communication, independence, and a proactive approach to service excellence in a fast-paced environment. Occasional in-person client visits are possible.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a Commercial Property & Casualty insurance agency.
• Must hold Property and Casualty insurance license.
• Hold an industry designation or be willing to further industry knowledge through courses.
• Knowledge of Sagitta/ImageRight preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal instruction and a high degree of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Own the client relationship, retention, and develop a competitive insurance program.
• Educate clients on policy changes, coverage options, and industry trends.
• Respond to client and carrier requests within agreed timeframes.
• Manage renewal workflow and ensure there are no lapses in coverage.
• Negotiate renewals and new lines with carrier guidelines.
• Prepare proposals and summaries of insurance.
• Assist clients with claims reporting.
• Adhere to invoicing and collections policies and pursue payments.
• Manage client accounts per USI guidelines and KPIs.
• Educate and mentor teammates in Commercial Lines.
• Stay current on industry information and trends.
• Participate in virtual client meetings and occasional in-person visits.
