Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Commercial Lines Large Account Manager to oversee policy maintenance and service for assigned accounts, aiming for high client retention and strong relationships. The role emphasizes market-facing activities, renewal goals, and proactive account management.

You will work with client advisors to market, quote, and propose coverage solutions, while ensuring excellent service and accurate, timely communications.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Must have a high level of understanding accounting or strong math skills.
• High degree of critical thinking; ability to problem solve when the answer is not readily apparent.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, producing outcomes with minimal errors.
• Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office and common technology.
• Knowledge of Agency Management Systems; Applied Epic a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Complies with continuing education requirements for agent licensing.
• Must have worked with Alaska coverage.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintains a strong relationship and assists client advisors in account updates and coverage decisions.
• Collaborate with client advisors to review exposures and insurance programs for assigned clients.
• Market, quote, and prepare proposals to manage customer risk.
• Provide day-to-day service and respond to client questions promptly.
• Handle initial reports of claims and monitor progress to meet client needs.
• Monitor carrier activities and ensure they fulfill responsibilities to the customer.
• Complete account reviews and maintain customer records.
• Attempt to round-out each customer’s portfolio with additional lines where applicable.
• Keep clients informed about pending changes in the insurance world.
• Assist or complete other tasks as directed by platform management.
• Provide timely, professional, accurate communication to clients, team, and carriers.
• Maintain confidentiality of client records and communications.
• Seek referrals and help generate new business.
• Refer clients to Benefits Department and Personal Insurance for related lines.
• Coach and mentor junior members of the commercial lines.
• Comply with agency standards and policies.
