Job summary

Acrisure South Insurance Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Account Manager for large commercial lines. You will lead day-to-day service for a complex book, manage the full renewal lifecycle, and collaborate with producers to place and structure new business.

You will ensure accuracy of documents, provide expert client support, and mentor teammates while staying current on industry trends and underwriting guidelines. This role requires on-site presence and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with Commercial Lines Property & Casualty.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize and be proactive.
• Computer skills: Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Mathematical skills: ability to calculate discounts, premiums, commissions.
• Reasoning skills: problem solving with varied instructions and data.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day service and stewardship of large and complex commercial accounts.
• Oversee full renewal lifecycle: data collection, exposure analysis, marketing strategy, carrier negotiations, renewal proposals.
• Manage new business marketing: collaborate with Producers to design placements and evaluate quotes.
• Review policy audits for accuracy and address discrepancies with carriers and clients.
• Ensure accuracy of policy documents, endorsements, and binders reflecting negotiated terms.
• Provide expert client support, respond to inquiries, deliver proactive guidance to strengthen relationships.
• Issue and manage certificates, endorsements, policies, ID cards, and coverage documents.
• Maintain documentation in Applied EPIC and utilize agency platforms to improve workflow efficiency.
• Serve as strategic partner to Producers and Account Executives; communicate developments and risks to leadership.
• Stay current on industry trends, carrier appetites, and underwriting guidelines.
• Maintain deep expertise in commercial coverages and policy language; advise on program structure and emerging exposures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior team members as needed.
