Job summary

HUB International Limited in Metairie, LA, is seeking an Account Manager to oversee a book of insurance business with autonomy and professional client service.

You will support Producers, retain accounts, pursue new business, liaise with carriers, and document conversations in HUB systems. Travel as required.

This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and delivering quality coverage to local businesses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an insurance account management role in required lines.
• Brokerage experience is preferred.
• Excellent English oral and written communications.
• Superior customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with computer systems including Microsoft Office and agency management systems.
• Ability to work in a team environment and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Makes major decisions on books of insurance business with minimal manager approval.
• Works with Producers and HUB personnel on client service, marketing, and renewals.
• Oversees transactions, paperwork, and processing for assigned accounts.
• Understands clients' objectives and analyzes plans for suitability.
• Maintains data accuracy in HUB systems and can travel as needed.
• Develops new business from existing accounts and meets production goals.
