Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in insurance customer service, brokerage knowledge, and active licensing with CISR preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; professional designation (CISR) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organization.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and/or assigned group of accounts.
• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist and related roles.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related tasks.
• Support new and renewal business: research, underwriting info, proposals, binding, and issuance follow-up.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate regularly with the account team about workload and issues.
• Deliver service excellence and proactively anticipate client needs.
• Stay updated on policies and procedures; seek continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership in IOA values.
