Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate – Commercial Lines to support the account team with administrative tasks, client service, renewals, and policy processing. You will work under an Account Manager or Producer to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of services.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in insurance customer service, active licensing (CISR preferred), and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day‑to‑day activities and workflow of the support team.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and billing tasks.
• Support client research, submissions, and coverage negotiations.
• Assist in reviewing contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist with collections.
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy.
• Communicate workload status with the account team.
• Deliver proactive service and respond quickly to requests.
