Job summary

North Easton Savings Bank seeks a C&I Commercial Relationship Manager to develop and manage a portfolio of high-quality C&I loans, ensuring adherence to credit policies and regulatory requirements. You will drive new business, deepen client relationships, and contribute to growth and profitability of the commercial lending division.

The role requires strong credit analysis, cash-flow evaluation, and proficiency with loan structures, with a focus on community banking environments.

Qualifications

• 7–15 years of commercial lending, credit analysis, or relationship management experience in a financial institution; community/regional bank experience preferred.
• Proven ability to source new business and manage a commercial loan portfolio.
• Strong financial statement analysis skills, including cash-flow analysis and collateral evaluation.
• Familiarity with SBA and other government-guaranteed lending programs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with loan origination systems, Microsoft Office, and financial analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Originates new C&I focused commercial lending opportunities through proactive business development, networking, and referral source cultivation.
• Builds and manages a portfolio of commercial relationships and monitors credit quality, presenting data and recommendations to Team Leader when appropriate.
• Meets or exceeds annual production, revenue, and portfolio growth goals.
• Analyzes financial statements, tax returns, collateral, industry trends, and borrower/guarantor creditworthiness.
• Prepares comprehensive credit memos with risk ratings and loan structures.
• Structures loan terms balancing client needs with risk management.
• Coordinates with Credit Administration and Loan Operations for underwriting and documentation.
• Identifies deteriorating credits and develops remediation plans.
• Serves as the primary contact for borrowing and deposit clients.
• Identifies cross-sell opportunities including treasury management, deposit, and other Bank products.
• Maintains strong relationships with internal partners for seamless client experiences.
