Job summary
Amegy Bank in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager Team Lead to join our Commercial Banking team. You will lead a team of portfolio managers, oversee credit underwriting, risk assessment, and portfolio monitoring, and coordinate client relationships in Northwest Crossing Houston.
The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in banking, finance or related field and 8+ years of commercial lending or credit analysis experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in banking, finance or related field.
- 8+ years commercial lending or credit analysis experience.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of portfolio managers in credit underwriting, risk assessment and portfolio monitoring.
- Spread and analyze financial statements, assess industry risk, collateral needs, pricing and loan presentations.
- Manage relationship portfolios, conduct relationship reviews and cross-sell banking products.
- Inspire and mentor team members to develop client relationships and achieve client satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
