OceanFirst Bank is seeking a CRE Commercial Lender III/Senior Relationship Manager in Uniondale, NY. You will acquire new commercial clients, expand existing relationships, and manage a growing portfolio while structuring complex credit relationships.

Role requires deep credit knowledge, strong market network, and ability to work across departments to maximize profitability with controlled risk. Hybrid schedule after onboarding.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive sales, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Experience in managing large, sophisticated and complex relationships.
• Superior knowledge of commercial banking products and services, credit policy and procedures, and commercial compliance regulations.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of banking regulations governing commercial lending.
• Proven ability to work independently and leverage professional relationships.
• Deep understanding of capital structures and experience in senior debt structures.
• Extensive knowledge of financial analysis, risk evaluation, loan documentation and commercial loan structure.
• Familiar with sales automation tools.
• Excellent sales presentation, interpersonal, negotiation and written and verbal communication skills.
• Possesses strong relationships and well recognized in the local market.
• Strong computer literacy in MS Office.

• Identifies and develops new commercial loan relationships.
• Identifies and develops new deposit relationships.
• Interviewing clients and prospects seeking commercial loans.
• Collecting and analyzing financial data to determine creditworthiness.
• Structuring loan terms meeting client needs and lending guidelines.
• Recommending approval or declination of loans within policy.
• Managing a commercial loan portfolio and covenant compliance.
• Reviewing documentation with Bank personnel or Counsel.
• Monitoring loan repayment and collecting past-due accounts.
• Drives new business development and overall relationship management.
• Cross-sells commercial products to existing customers.
• Partners with credit professionals on loan exposure.
• Represents the bank in civic/community functions.
• Participates in joint calls to develop customer relationships.
