Job summary

OceanFirst Bank is seeking a Commercial Lender III/Senior Relationship Manager to acquire new commercial banking clients and grow an existing portfolio in Vineland, NJ. The role entails structuring complex credit relationships and leveraging COIs to expand the bank’s footprint.

The position requires extensive sales, negotiation, and relationship management experience, with 10+ years in commercial lending and a strong understanding of credit policies and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Demonstrated experience prospecting and managing large clients.
• Formal credit training strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and develops new commercial loan relationships.
• Manages a portfolio of complex commercial loans and deposits.
• Analyzes financial data to determine creditworthiness and structures loan terms.
