Job summary

Prosperity Bank is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to grow and retain profitable commercial client relationships in Austin, TX. You will lead credit analysis, loan structuring, and cross-sell banking products while expanding deposits and revenue across the life of the client relationship.

The role emphasizes heavy relationship management, knowledge of commercial banking products, and end-to-end loan execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance or related field preferred.
• Formally credit trained and/or underwriting knowledge preferred.
• Typically seven years direct lending or credit support with a focus on business relationships.
• Knowledge of sales, loan processing and closing processes.
• Extensive knowledge of Commercial Banking products and services including working knowledge of C&I and CRE loans.
• Ability to expand loans, client relationships and cross-sell bank products.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven business development track record.

Responsibilities

• Solicit commercial clients; aggressively seeks and obtains quality new business through client and prospect calls, referrals, and cross selling efforts.
• Obtaining and maintaining COI’s and attending various networking events in the assigned geographic area.
• Requires skills and experience loan structuring and credit analysis.
• Generating a wide variety of commercial and real estate loans.
• Closing loans typically in the $1 million to $10 million range.
• Contributes to deposit growth by cross selling and promoting additional banking products.
• Other duties as assigned.
