Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager – Industrial Power Generation to lead the commercial development of strategic opportunities within the IET Industrial Power Generation business. You will own end-to-end proposal strategy, coordinating multidisciplinary teams across sales, engineering, project execution, and finance to maximize win rates and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related disciplines from an accredited college or university.
• 10–12 years of experience in a project-oriented organization.
• Solid technical and commercial background in the Industrial Energy industry.
• Experience communicating and influencing at senior leadership level.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of commercial proposals for large and complex Power Systems opportunities coordinating multidisciplinary proposal teams.
• Define bid strategies aligned with business objectives and market conditions.
• Coordinate inputs from engineering, product management, supply chain, and service teams.
• Ensure proposals are complete, compliant, competitive, and submitted on time.
• Support strategic pursuits from early engagement through contract award.
• Drive pricing strategies that balance competitiveness and profitability.
• Lead commercial risk analysis and mitigation planning as per governance processes.
• Negotiate commercial terms and assess contract terms.
