Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and client support for the account team, under supervision of AM/AE/Producer. The role focuses on policy management, renewals, submissions, and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing; CISR preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of team support and account staff
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related tasks
• Support new and renewal business: gather underwriting information, submissions, proposals, binding
• Review contracts for proper coverages
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms
• Communicate workload status and issues to the account team
• Deliver excellent service and anticipate client needs
• Stay updated on company policies and seek process improvements
• Demonstrate IOA values and leadership
