Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and client support to the account team under supervision of an Account Manager (AM), Account Executive (AE), or Producer.

You will monitor policy expirations, process endorsements, renewals, and submissions, while maintaining data accuracy and delivering proactive service in a remote hybrid setup across Eastern and Central Time Zones.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in insurance
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing required; CISR preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities and workflow of team support and account staff
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents
• Support new and renewal business: gather information, prep submissions, negotiate coverages
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain agency systems and carrier platforms for accuracy
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team
• Deliver proactive service and respond quickly to requests
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures
