Job summary

FirstCall Mechanical is seeking a seasoned Commercial HVAC Service Technician in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will hold an active EPA Certification and have 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience, a clean driving record, and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing maintenance, servicing mini-splits and RTUs, and managing PM contracts while delivering elite customer service. A valid driver's license, OSHA 10, and manufacturer certs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License w/ acceptable driving record.
• Active EPA Certification.
• 5+ years’ of experience in a commercial HVAC setting.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Manufacturer Certification is preferred.
• Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose causes of problems in heating/air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Perform maintenance and service repairs, install new units or replace parts.
• Maintain larger PM contracts with more than 5 units.
• Repair or replace defective parts in units and their controls.
• Service and troubleshooting mini-splits and smaller RTUs.
• Communicate with Dispatch to ensure completion of scheduled jobs.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Provide elite customer service to every customer encountered.
