Job summary

FirstCall Mechanical in Houston seeks an experienced Seasoned Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our fast-growing team. You will diagnose and service air-cooled and water-cooled systems, operate building automation controls, and perform maintenance with a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, active EPA certification, at least 5 years in commercial HVAC, OSHA 10, and willingness to work flexible hours and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License w/ acceptable driving record.
• Active EPA Certification.
• 5+ years’ of experience in a commercial HVAC setting.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Manufacturer Certification is preferred.
• Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose causes of problems in air-cooled and water-cooled HVAC systems and identify repair/replacement needs.
• Operate and diagnose building automation controls.
• Perform maintenance, service repairs, install new units, or replace components as required.
• Provide elite customer service to every customer encountered.
• Maintain service relationships with clients of various sizes.
• Service and troubleshoot chillers, cooling towers, boilers, pumps, and air handling units.
• Communicate with Dispatch to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Adhere to allotted time requirements and maintain preventive maintenance schedules.
