Job summary

Trane Technologies in Wisconsin is seeking a highly skilled HVAC service technician responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems on commercial projects. The role involves end-to-end testing, on-site installation, and collaboration with project teams.

Qualifications

• Typically requires at least 10 plus years of experience in HVAC.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with hand held computer.
• Valid driver’s license for minimum 12 months with clean record including restrictions listed.
• EPA Certification Preferred (HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer, etc.).

Responsibilities

• End to end testing, downloading programming, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects.
• Serve as direct customer contact and service products and equipment on assigned projects to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
• Use software and hand-tools to diagnose and repair units following specifications.
• Enforce safety standards and manage company assets, recording usage and conditions.
• Mentor team members and flexibly work overtime including occasional overnight stays.
