Job summary

Mechanical Products Nevada in Reno seeks an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to perform electrical and mechanical inspection and startup maintenance on our equipment. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training plus 1-5 years’ experience as a Service Helper or Technician.
• Office software proficiency and handheld device use.
• Electrical knowledge preferred (EPA HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer).
• Able to operate in noisy, extreme weather, and high-voltage environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 pounds and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Complete startup and documentation of new units.
• Perform preventive maintenance including belt adjustments, oiling, greasing, and cleaning.
• Interpret engineering drawings for layout, location, and operation.
• Represent the company to contractors and owners in a positive manner.
• Advise owners on inspections performed and corrective actions.
• Suggest additional services to benefit customers.
• Work in a team to share workload and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Submit required paperwork to Service Coordinator promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and perform other duties as assigned.
