Job summary

Mechanical Products Nevada seeks an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support data centers in and around Reno. You will perform electrical and mechanical inspection, startup maintenance, and customer-facing service on equipment we sell.

The ideal candidate will have a valid HVAC certification, OSHA 10, and 1–5 years of field experience, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices. Relocation assistance is provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 training.
• 1–5 years’ experience as a Service Helper or Service Technician.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Complete startup and proper documentation of new units.
• Perform preventative maintenance including belt adjustments, oiling, greasing, and cleaning of equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings for layout, location, and operation of systems.
• Represent the company positively to trades, contractors, and owners.
• Submit required paperwork to Service Coordinator in a timely manner.
• Maintain safety and follow all required safety measures.
