Job summary

Mechanical Products Nevada is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician for Data Centers in/around Reno. You will perform electrical and mechanical startup maintenance on equipment and coordinate with Project Managers and Service Coordinators while delivering excellent customer service.

Relocation assistance provided. The role requires field work, safety awareness, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training.
• 1–5 years’ experience as a Service Helper or Service Technician.
• Electrical knowledge preferred (HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer, etc.).
• Ability to work in field environments and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete startup and proper documentation of new units.
• Perform preventive maintenance including belt adjustments, oiling, greasing, and cleaning.
• Interpret engineering drawings for layout, location and operation of systems.
• Represent the company positively to other trades, contractors, and owners.
• Advise on preventive maintenance inspections and corrective actions.
