Job summary

Mechanical Products Nevada seeks an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician in Las Vegas to perform electrical and mechanical startup, and preventive maintenance on the equipment we sell. This full-time role requires a customer-service mindset and collaboration with Project Managers, Service Coordinators, and customers.

The ideal candidate has HVAC certification, OSHA 10, a valid driver’s license, 1–5 years of field experience, and the ability to work in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC Certification and OSHA 10 Training required.
• 1–5 years of experience as a Service Helper or Service Technician in residential or commercial settings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and handheld devices (smartphone, iPad).

Responsibilities

• Complete startup and proper documentation of new units.
• Perform preventative maintenance including belt adjustments, oiling, greasing, and cleaning of equipment.
• Use experience and technical skills to determine service requirements.
• Interpret engineering drawings for layout, location, and operation of systems.
• Represent the company positively to other trades, contractors, and owners.
• Advise on preventive maintenance inspections performed and corrective actions needed.
• Suggest additional services beneficial to customers.
