Job summary

TRG Maintenance LLC in Columbus, OH is seeking a seasoned Service Operations Leader to grow and guide our commercial service department. You will lead a team of technicians, drive safety, and uphold quality workmanship across the Columbus region.

The role requires hands-on HVAC/refrigeration experience, EPA certification, and a proven ability to recruit, train, and retain skilled staff while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of service management or equivalent operational leadership experience in the trade.
• Hands-on technical background servicing commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Active EPA Certification.
• Proven track record of recruiting, training, and retaining skilled field technicians.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Direct, mentor, and support a team of 10–15 commercial service technicians to ensure operational excellence.
• Coordinate technician scheduling and daily dispatching to optimize response times and service call completion.
• Manage resource allocation across ongoing projects in close collaboration with office operations staff.
• Drive technician recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and retention to support ongoing team growth.
• Provide ongoing technical coaching and training programs to elevate team capability and career advancement.
• Monitor key performance metrics, service quality, and productivity to maintain top-tier customer satisfaction.
