Job summary

TP Mechanical Contractors in Columbus, OH, seeks a Senior HVAC Technician to troubleshoot and repair rooftop units, boilers, chillers, and refrigeration systems. You will read blueprints and communicate professionally with our team and subcontractors.

The role requires 8–10 years of commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience, EPA Type 2 or Universal license, and strong leadership skills. You will lead, delegate, and mentor junior techs while delivering high-quality service on large-scale

Qualifications

Minimum 8–10 years commercial HVAC/refrigeration experience.
EPA Type 2 or Universal License required.
Read and understand blueprints.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and solve HVAC rooftop units, make up air, boiler, chiller, and control system problems.
Follows up with customers for quality assurance purposes and ensures customers are 100% satisfied.
Acts as the senior technical support for other Service Techs. Can answer most technical questions and help with almost any issue.
Attends, if needed, all job site and office meetings related to assigned projects. Is well prepared to handle issues that may come up.
Dependable and able to work in emergency situations when called.
All other duties as assigned.
