Job summary

Mid-South Equipment seeks an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to perform electrical and mechanical inspections and startup maintenance on our HVAC systems. This full-time role emphasizes customer service and collaboration with Project Managers and Service Coordinators.

Ideal candidates have a strong HVAC background, OSHA 10, and the ability to work in varying environments, including field sites with physical demands. Time flexibility including overtime is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training; 5+ years' service tech experience.
• Electrical knowledge required; EPA certification preferred.
• Ability to work in diverse conditions and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical and mechanical inspection and maintenance on equipment.
• Conducts preventative maintenance including belt adjustments, oiling, greasing, cleaning.
• Interprets engineering drawings for layout and operation.
• Represents the company positively to trades, contractors, and owners.
• Advises on preventive maintenance inspections and corrective actions.
• Works in a team-based environment to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Submits paperwork to Service Coordinator promptly.
• Willing to work overtime/weekends as required.
