Job summary

Mid-South Equipment Sales & Services is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to perform electrical and mechanical inspections and start-up maintenance on our equipment.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience, HVAC certification, OSHA 10 training, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings. This full-time role involves field work across multiple sites with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret layouts.
• EPA Certification preferred (e.g., HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer).

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical inspection and maintenance on equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance: belt adjustments, oiling, greasing, cleaning.
• Interpret engineering drawings for system layout and operation.
• Communicate maintenance findings and actions to Project Managers and customers.
• Work in a team-based environment to ensure customer satisfaction.
