Job summary

Mid-South Equipment is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician in Louisiana to perform electrical and mechanical inspection and startup maintenance on the equipment we sell. This full-time role requires a customer-service oriented, team-driven candidate who can coordinate with Project Managers, Service Coordinators and customers.

The ideal candidate has a valid driver's license, 5+ years of service experience in a commercial setting, HVAC certification, OSHA 10, and strong

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training; 5+ years' experience as a Service Technician in a commercial environment.
• Strong VRF technology knowledge (LG, Mitsubishi, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical and mechanical inspection and maintenance on equipment to ensure peak performance.
• Performs preventative maintenance including belt adjustments, oiling, greasing and cleaning of equipment.
• Interprets engineering drawings to understand layout, location and operation of systems.
• Represents the company positively to other trades, contractors and owners.
• Communicates preventive maintenance results and recommended actions to owners/representatives.
