Job summary

IsoTalent is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join a client’s estimating team in a full-time, in-office role in Phoenix. The position targets commercial and retail projects, with a fast-paced bid environment and a focus on accuracy and competitive pricing.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of estimating experience, strong knowledge of drawings and specs, and proven ability to manage multiple bids while coordinating with subs, vendors, and project managers to ensure complete,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of estimating experience in commercial or retail construction.
• Proven experience estimating tenant improvements, retail build-outs, renovations, or ground-up projects.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and cost components.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed, accurate cost estimates for commercial/retail construction.
• Review drawings, specs, scopes of work, and bid documents to determine requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Solicit and compare subcontractor/supplier proposals for competitive bids.
• Identify scope gaps, risks, and value-engineering opportunities.
• Prepare bid packages, budgets, and estimating documentation.
• Manage high volumes of estimates to meet deadlines.
• Maintain organized estimating files and data.
