Job summary

Ironmark Building Co. is seeking a commercial construction Estimator to join our Phoenix-area team.

You will calculate labor, equipment, and material costs for wood frame and other commercial projects, review drawings and specs, and coordinate bids with subcontractors to deliver competitive proposals. You should have 2+ years of estimating experience on commercial projects, strong Excel skills, and the ability to read plans and takeoffs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of estimating experience on commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read plans and specifications and perform takeoffs.
• Experience with hard bids and coordination of subcontractor bids.
• Proficient in Excel and take-off software; strong communication with subs.

Responsibilities

• Calculate labor, equipment, and material costs for commercial projects.
• Review drawings and specs to determine quantities and pricing.
• Coordinate subcontractor bids and prepare bid presentations.
• Maintain positive communication with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Present bid results to owners and architects as needed.
