Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in South Boston, Virginia, seeks a full-time Commercial Electrical Foreman to lead field crews on local projects.

You will supervise and coordinate activities, interpret blueprints, ensure safety, and document daily work. Travel may be required. Minimum 6–10 years of commercial electrician experience; state license preferred; OSHA 30; background/MVR checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–10 years of commercial electrician experience or related work.
• State Electrical License strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.
• Pass pre-employment background check and MVR check as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers and plans labor requirements.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders for supervision scope.
• Confirms completion and documents safety activities daily/weekly/monthly.
• Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to meet specs.
• Enforces safety policies and proper care for tools and equipment.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Ensures compliance with company and customer safety policies.
• Travel may be required.
