IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time commercial Electrical Foreman in Suffolk, Virginia. The role focuses on supervising craft workers, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring safety and quality on projects.

The ideal candidate has 6-10 years of commercial electrician experience, with a preferred state electrical license and OSHA 30 certification or the ability to obtain. Travel may be required as projects dictate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-10 years recent commercial electrician experience.
• State Electrical License strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background and MVR checks when operating vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers, plans labor requirements.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for supervision.
• Confirms completion and documentation of project safety activities (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Interprets company policies to workers, enforcing safety regulations and proper care for tools and equipment.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.
