Job summary

Vortex Doors, America’s premier door service company, seeks an Experienced Commercial Door Technician in Ohio. You will install, repair, and maintain commercial sectional doors, dock levelers, and related hardware with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Expect in-field service at customer sites, troubleshooting, and cost-effective problem solving. Applicants should have 2–4+ years in the commercial door service industry, welding certification is a plus, and a valid license to drive.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of commercial door service experience.
• Experience with sectional doors and dock equipment preferred.
• Welding certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial sectional doors, docks, and related hardware.
• Weld dock levelers during installation.
• Diagnose door-related issues including springs, hinges, locks, and electrical components.
• Provide excellent customer service and document service visits.
