Job summary

Vortex Doors, America’s top commercial and industrial door service provider, seeks an Experienced Commercial Door Technician with 3+ years in the industry to join our Denver-area team.

You will install, repair, and maintain doors, docks, and hardware, troubleshoot issues, ensure safety and code compliance, and deliver outstanding customer service on site. Training and advancement are offered with a competitive benefits package and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the commercial door service industry.
• Knowledge of various door types, brands, and hardware.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Proficiency with measuring and performing accurate calculations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial doors, docks, and related hardware.
• Diagnose and repair door-related issues, including springs, hinges, locks, and electronics.
• Install and configure door hardware and access control systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service and document service visits.
• Maintain accurate installation and service records.
• Communicate cost-effective solutions to customers.
• Perform quality checks to meet company standards.
