Vortex Doors is seeking an Experienced Commercial Door Technician in Ohio to install, repair, and maintain a variety of doors, docks, and related hardware at customer sites. The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and excellent service.

Qualified candidates have 4+ years in the commercial door service industry and may have AAADM certification. A company vehicle is provided for visits, with strong training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial door service experience.
• AAADM certification is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of door types, brands, and hardware.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs. and climb ladders as needed.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to protocols.
• Good math skills for precise measurements.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial doors, docks, and related hardware.
• Diagnose door issues including springs, hinges, locks, and electrical components.
• Install and configure door hardware and access control systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and explain repair processes.
• Maintain accurate service records and prepare reports.
• Identify cost-effective solutions and communicate with customers.
• Perform quality checks to meet company standards.
