Job summary

Vortex Doors, based in Ohio, seeks an experienced AAADM Certified Commercial Door Technician to install, repair, and maintain doors, docks, and related hardware on customer sites.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in the door industry, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality. A company vehicle is provided, along with uniform and boot allowances to support field service.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in the commercial door service industry.
• AAADM certified preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial doors, docks, and related hardware.
• Service automatic sliding, swinging, folding, revolving, and low-energy door systems.
• Perform AAADM inspections and safety tests.
• Replace and adjust door operators, sensors, access control components, and related hardware.
• Ensure installed doors meet safety and building code regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and installations.
