As a Experienced Commercial Door Technician at Vortex Doors, you will install, repair, and maintain various doors, docks, and related hardware, ensuring they function efficiently and safely.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in the commercial door service industry.
• AAADM certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial doors, docks and related hardware.
• Diagnose door issues (springs, hinges, locks, electrical components) and perform repairs.
• Install door hardware and configure access control systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and explain repair processes.
• Maintain service records and generate reports as required.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues; offer cost-effective solutions.
• Perform quality checks to meet high workmanship standards.
