The role requires 4+ years of door industry experience and a strong mechanical aptitude. You will diagnose issues, configure access controls, ensure safety and building code compliance, and deliver clear explanations to customers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in the commercial door service industry.
• AAADM certification is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background/MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial doors, docks, and related hardware on customer sites.
• Diagnose door-related issues (springs, hinges, locks, electrical components) and perform repairs.
• Install and configure door hardware, locks, closers, and access control systems.
• Ensure installed doors meet safety and building code regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service with clear explanations of repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and installations.
• Communicate cost-effective solutions to customers and perform quality checks.
