Job summary

Vortex Doors is seeking an Experienced Commercial Door Technician to install, repair, and maintain various types of doors, docks, and related hardware at customer sites across the region. You will diagnose issues, provide cost-effective solutions, and ensure safety and code compliance in every service call.

Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent customer communication are essential. Training is provided and a company vehicle is available for field work.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in commercial door service industry.
• Welding certification a plus.
• Knowledge of door and dock hardware.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial sectional doors, dock levelers, and related hardware.
• Weld dock levelers during installation.
• Diagnose and repair door issues such as springs, hinges, locks, and electrical components.
• Perform quality checks to ensure safety standards are met.
• Maintain accurate records of service visits and installations.
