Job summary

Summit Midstream, headquartered in Houston, is seeking a Director, Commercial to oversee asset management and drive business development for our gathering and pipelines assets across basins. You will manage customer relations, lead negotiations, and coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Legal, and Finance to optimize performance and growth.

You will work with the Commercial Development team to identify opportunities, structure deals, and advance acquisitions while ensuring alignment with MVCs

Qualifications

• Requires a Business or Engineering Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 10 years of Commercial/Business Development experience in the Midstream sector with producers.
• Proven track record of developing, sustaining and expanding customer relationships.
• Experience with industry software such as Drilling Info, Enverus is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing assets and provide updates/reports to senior management.
• Own day-to-day performance and optimization of the region and reporting.
• Serve as primary contact with customers and resolve concerns.
• Identify, develop and negotiate new project opportunities around existing assets.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Legal, Accounting, FP&A and Strategy teams.
• Lead commercial integration of bolt-on asset acquisitions and negotiations.
• Support closing and settlement processes and due diligence.
