GlaxoSmithKline plc is seeking a senior data science leader to manage a 2-4 person team and drive analytics initiatives for the US commercial oncology portfolio. You will develop AI/ML models, deploy analytics automation, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate data into actionable business insights.

The role requires advanced degrees and 5+ years of analytics experience, with proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, and cloud platforms.

Formación

• Master's or PhD in statistics, mathematics, engineering or related analytical field.
• 5+ years applying analytics and statistics in a business setting.
• 3+ years of experience with analytics tools and visualization tools.
• Experience with SQL, Python, PySpark and visualization tools.
• Cloud compute environments and Databricks or Snowflake data platforms.
• Experience coding statistical and ML models.
• Experience developing and deploying AI agentic processes.
• Identify areas for analysis and contribute to problem-solving.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of 2-4 data scientists and engineers.
• Develop and deliver analytics and insights using AI/ML and statistical models.
• Cover topics from customer segmentation to marketing mix modeling and omnichannel analytics.
• Develop, deploy, maintain and monitor analytics automation in data platforms with CI/CD.
• Collaborate with reporting owners to deploy AI tools for insights and data interrogation.
• Drive data-driven decisions through stakeholder engagement and analytics literacy.
• Define project plans and ensure milestones are met.
