Job summary

GSK is seeking an experienced analytics leader in Durham, NC to guide a team of data scientists and engineers. You will drive high-quality analytics and AI/ML insights for US commercial oncology, including patient, HCP, and health system level analyses.

You will shape analytics strategy, deploy predictive models, and optimize marketing and resource allocation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in statistics, mathematics, engineering or related analytical field.
• 5+ years of experience applying analytics and statistical skills in a business setting.
• 3+ years of professional experience with analytics tools/languages and visualization tools.
• Experience in analytics tools/languages such as SQL, Python, PySpark, and visualization tools.
• Experience working in cloud compute environments and Databricks or Snowflake data platforms.
• Experience in coding statistical and ML models.
• Experience with developing and deploying AI agentic processes.
• Proactively identify areas for analysis, including the potential application for machine learning, and contribute to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 2-4 data scientists and engineers.
• Develop and deliver high quality analytics and insights using AI/ML and statistical models.
• Perform customer segmentation, brand performance reporting, predictive patient modeling, and propensity score modeling.
• Drive Omnichannel analytics, Marketing Mix Modeling, and resource allocation optimization.
• Develop, deploy, maintain and monitor data analytics automation in enterprise data platforms within CI/CD.
• Collaborate with business reporting owners to deliver analytics automation and visualization of insights.
• Define project plans and milestones with stakeholder alignment and cross-functional teams.
• Use storytelling and visualizations to translate data science into actionable business decisions.
