Job summary

State Bank seeks a Credit Analyst to support the credit analysis function, review lending data, and document analyses. You will evaluate financial statements, assist in loan recommendations, and ensure adherence to banking regulations.

The role includes training Credit Analyst Trainees and coordinating with colleagues to maintain efficient processes. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field is preferred, with 3–5 years of financial analysis experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field; specialized financial analysis training preferred.
• Minimum three years of financial analysis experience; five years preferred.
• Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of current lending and banking regulations; ability to analyze and interpret financial statements.
• Visual and auditory skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the credit analysis function and achieve department goals.
• Receive data on borrowing accounts and analyze data to evaluate prospects.
• May make loan recommendations and document supporting information.
• Provide thorough documentation of financial analyses and ensure compliance with lending policies.
• Lead training for Credit Analyst Trainee(s) and suggest training improvements.
• Coordinate departmental tasks with coworkers to ensure efficient processes.
